the last time i read about planetread in some other blog was a while back. of course, o re chori was the only song then in the ad. i saw this today and thot that i will share this with everyone. more here
me thinks that this is an awesome venture and it will really help increase literacy. i dedicate this post to kutty and me. here's a chance for ur first baby steps :)

....i learnt tamizh alphabets few weeks back....i can read (very)few words now....i know to write my name in tamizh....:)))

PS: Me install e-kalappai, and if you type things out in the Roman letters you get to see it in Tamil on screen. You will make a few spelling mistakes, but might be a good place to start maybe.
